Dynasty Financial Partners Expands Wealth Platform

Dynasty Financial Partners, the provider of investment and technology platforms for IFAs, has expanded its wealth management offering, with the launch of Dynasty Insurance Services which will cover the firm’s wealth transfer (estate) planning platforms and insurance. The unit will be headed up by the newly-appointed Richard Plesha who has been named as partner and director of insurance services. Plesha, who is said to have over forty years of experience in private wealth, was latterly director of private wealth management at The Hartford. In his new role Plesha will work with independent advisors in Dynasty’s network. Dynasty Insurance Services aims to offer independent investment advisors insurance-related services to their high net worth clients that may include “innovative solutions that can provide significant tax advantages and asset protection to clients and their heirs,” said the firm in a statement. Furthermore as part of the launch, the firm has announced a partnership with Fund Evaluation Group to offer alternative investment-linked wealth transfer planning products to advisors. Dynasty Financial Partners is based in New York.
