Britton was latterly with Deloitte, where she was a senior manager in the private client team for eight years, providing tax advice to high and ultra high net worth clients in areas such as inheritance tax planning and capital gains tax mitigation. Before Deloitte she spent five years as a tax and financial advisor at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank.

In her new role Britton will be based in Heartwood’s Tunbridge Wells office, where the new tax solutions team will be based. The firm told WealthBriefing that strong client acquisition had produced a need for more dedicated client relationship directors and this means that Neil Edwards, Heartwood’s existing, London-based head of tax, has shifted focus from solely tax advisory services to tax and client management.
