Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management has opened the year with two new senior hires for its Asia team.
Tony Tang has been named managing director and head of North Asia client solutions in Hong Kong, while Eleonore Dachicourt is now director and head of hedge fund sales for Asia based in Singapore.
Tang joins from Citigroup Global Markets in Hong Kong, where he led the bank's securitisation trading efforts in the region. Before that, he spent 12 years in the US working for FIMAT, the derivatives arm of Societe Generale, and West LB New York. Within Deutsche PWM's hedge fund team Dachicourt is already responsible for increasing penetration levels of hedge funds within clients' portfolios. Before Deutsche Bank, she headed the private mandates team in the alternatives unit of Credit Suisse Asset Management in London.
For their new roles, Tang will report directly to Bobby Abraham, head of non-flow structuring for Asia, and indirectly to Anurag Mahesh, head of global investment solutions Asia Pacific, while Dachicourt will report globally to Pascal Botterton, global head of the hedge and mutual fund investment group, and locally to Mahesh.
Deutsche Bank PWM caters primarily to wealthy families and entepreneurs in Asia and has key operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.
