Deboo, who has around sixteen years of experience primarily in the NRI business, was latterly head of NRI Banking at Barclays Bank. Prior to Barclays, Deboo spent five years at ICICI Bank for over five years, working in various capacities for the International Banking Group.

In his new role Deboo will be spearheading the global Indian banking initiatives at YES Bank, which will include delivering the bank's liabilities goals with a focus on cross-selling wealth management and insurance products.

YES Bank is an independent institution founded by Rana Kapoor.
