Nucleus Financial, the IFA-owned and controlled wrap platform, has expanded by adding two more IFA firms, Wealth Matters and Pennine Financial Planning, taking the total number of firms affiliated with the platform to over 80. Wealth Matters, located in Luton, is a fee-based practice of boutique financial strategists. The business currently has five advisors and is looking to expand its operations over the next five years via a combination of organic growth and the acquisition of other client banks, said a statement. Pennine Financial Planning, based in Sheffield, is a fee-only investment advisory firm. “We continue to see an overwhelming level of interest from IFAs across the country and this is evidenced by our two new member firms. We now have over 80 firms,” said Barry Neilson, business development director at Nucleus. Earlier this year Nucleus added Reeve Sims and The Fry Group to its IFA advisory board, which is responsible for ensuring the advisor firms who own and use the Nucleus wrap remain central to its future development and direction, according to a statement from Nucleus.
