WHK Horwath Announces Name Change To Reflect International Status

Australian accounting and wealth management firm WHK Horwath has announced its name change to Crowe Horwath to reflect its international status.
The name change reflects membership of the 141-member Crowe Horwath international network, one of the top 10 global accounting networks, the company said in a statement. It also reflects the firm's positioning as a larger accounting services and wealth management business offering small to medium enterprises specialised teams for audit, tax, and corporate advisory, and private clients advice on personal taxation and wealth management.
"This change will clearly align us with the Crowe Horwath International network but will not impact our clients' relationship with us, the fees they pay, or our focus on meeting the needs of individuals and small to medium business clients," Darren OBrien, chief executive of WHK Horwath's Sydney office, said.
WHK Horwath has over 3,000 professionals working in 120 offices in Australia and New Zealand. Crowe Horwath International encompasses 141 independent accounting and advisory firms with nearly 590 offices and 28,000 professionals in over 100 countries.
