The investment management firm Invesco has announced it will make two fund mergers, aiming to consolidate funds with similar investment objectives in light of a recent review of its funds.

The US Equity Fund is to be merged into the Invesco US Structured Equity Fund and the Invesco Global Telecom Fund is to be merged into the Invesco Global Technology Fund.

These mergers are intended to lower costs for investors through economies of scale and reduce duplication of investment strategies, the firm said.

All costs and expenses related to the fund mergers will be borne by the manager, the firm said in a statement.
