Centric Wealth, the Australian wealth advisory firm, has appointed Greg Dunger as director of financial planning. Centric Wealth has A$4.9 billion (around $7.9 billion) in assets under advice, with a network of advisors across financial planning, risk insurance, corporate benefit services, lending services, general insurance, and family office. It has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Canberra.
Dunger brings over 30 years of financial services experience to the company. He was the managing director of RetireInvest from 2006 to 2009 and, prior to that, served as managing director of AON Financial Planning and AON Wealth Management. He was most recently a consultant at AMP.
In his new capacity, Dunger will be responsible for Centric's financial planning business and will report directly to John McMurdo, chief executive. He takes over from John Hart, who has moved to a new role as head of mergers, acquisitions and growth.
