AMP Signs Partnership With Bendigo Bank

AMP Financial Services has formed a strategic alliance with Bendigo Bank under which it will deliver its life insurance products to Bendigo's retail clients in Australia.

Bendigo Bank is a provider of retail banking and wealth management services in the country, while AMP is active in financial planning, corporate and retail superannuation, and retirement income, among other areas. The transaction is expected to help both companies expand their client bases in the country.

Starting this month, AMP's Flexible Lifetime Protection product will be rolled out to Bendigo's 460 branches, opening access to about 1.35 million customers. The entire roll-out is expected to be completed by November this year.
