California United Bank Promotes RMs To Senior Roles

California United Bank has promoted two of its relationship managers to senior roles at its private banking and lending units.

Shelley Gibson has been named senior vice president for private banking, while Kevin McElroy was appointed senior vice president for commercial real estate and construction lending. Both Gibson and McElroy are well known relationship bankers in Los Angeles and have been with the company since 2005.

The appointments follow the company's merger agreement with California Oaks State Bank, and is in line with its expansion into Orange County and Glendale/San Gabriel Valley. CUB is headquartered in Encino, California.
