UK Advisor Announces Hiring Spree As Turnover Shoots Up

UK independent financial advisor 2plan Wealth Management has announced its half year results, reporting a turnover of £5.7 million (approximately $9.1 million), up 63 per cent on last year’s £3.5 million figure.

The firm also said it had launched a recruitment drive for the year ahead; 2plan has hired eight new recruitment directors in the past six months, and plans to appoint two more by the end of 2010, with a target of 20 by January 2011.

Furthermore, the firm has plans to add a further 300 advisors to its current 224-strong team, MoneyMarketing reports.

2plan Wealth Management launched in 2007 and has offices in the UK's north, south and midlands regions.
