Harris Bank has announced new appointments to its Wisconsin operations.

Peter Engel, the founder of management consulting firm Xcalibur, has been named president for retail banking in Wisconsin. In his new role, he will be responsible for the bank's operations in the state and will be based in Harris' main office in Milwaukee.

The other hire involves Tom Bolger, who has been named president for commercial banking. Bolger was most recently the head of Harris' Wisconsin operations.

"Now is the time to aggressively grow our commercial business in Wisconsin, and with Tom's leadership, passion and energy, we are extremely well-positioned to increase our market share," Dave Casper, executive vice president and head of commercial banking, said in a statement.

Harris provides banking, lending, investing and wealth management services to more than 1.2 million personal, business and corporate clients in the US.
