Wendy Spires

4 August 2010

Nucleus, the UK-based, IFA-owned wrap provider, has appointed Leanne Prowse as head of legal, risk, and compliance.

Prowse joins the company from Standard Life, where she served as head of legal for the firm’s wrap business. In her new role she will be responsible for consolidating the company’s legal framework and providing legal expertise, and will also serve as company secretary, reporting to Aileen Mathieson, Nucleus’ chief financial officer. Prowse's hire is the first of many appointments being made in the coming months as Nucleus looks to take its “growth and development to the next level,” the firm said in a statement.

In other recent news, earlier in the year Nucleus added Ardent IFA and Accord Financial Management to its wrap platform, bringing its total number of member IFA firms to 65 and the total number of advisors using the platform to 600.
