Highland Capital Adds To Executive Roster

Dallas investment management firm Highland Capital Management has added to its executive lineup with the appointment of Steven Delarosa as managing director.

Delarosa has more than 20 years of experience in client service and investment marketing. He joins the company from Western Asset Management Company, where he served for the past 11 years. Prior to that, he was director of investments at MFR Financial Resources.

Delarosa assumes a newly created position made to help the firm expand its US operations. He will be based in Dallas and will report to Kevin Latimer, a partner and head of business development at Highland.

Highland Capital has approximately $24 billion in assets under management and serves various clients worldwide in conjunction with its other office in New York, London, and Singapore. With a focus on alternative fixed income, it specializes in bank loans, high yield credit, distressed debt, structured products, real assets, and long and short equities.
