Nicole Spinelli has just been announced as director of the Raymond James Network for Women Advisors.
Spinelli has been with the Network for over 8 years now, working with previous directors to build educational programs for the female financial advisors under the firm. She succeeds Karen Julien, the branch manager of the Raymond James & Associates Carillon branch in St Petersburg, Florida.
The change in leadership will not affect the events and programs the Network sponsors, like the annual Raymond James Women's Symposium, which is designed as a forum for women to share ideas and confer with the company's senior managers.
Raymond James has over 5,300 financial advisors serving 1.9 million accounts in the US, Canada and overseas. The installation of Spinelli to the directorial post comes at a time female investors in the country are becoming more involved with how their wealth is managed.
