ANZ Private Bank has made two senior leadership appointments to its Asia Pacific operations.
Craig Burgess, presently the head of private bank in Hong Kong, will relocate to Singapore to become head of investment advisory and planning, Asia, effective 1 July. Also named was Samuel Suen, who joins the company as head of private bank, North and North East Asia in Hong Kong, beginning 24 May. Suen had worked as an independent consultant prior to the appointment and has served as global market manager for Citi Private Bank before that. Both will report to Nina Aguas, the managing director private bank Asia Pacific.
"Craig is well positioned to lead our growing regional investment advisory and planning team continuing to build ANZ Private Bank's capabilities as a long term trusted advisor," said Aguas in a statement.
The appointments come almost simultaneously with the opening of six new branches in the city-state following the completion of ANZ's acquisition of the Royal Bank of Scotland's assets in the country, as reported by WealthBriefing Asia in a separate article.
