Charter Bank To Rebrand As Charter Private Bank

Charter Bank, an affiliate company of Boston Private Financial Holdings, is to rebrand as Charter Private Bank as it moves from being a community bank to a locally-based private banking enterprise.

Following its transition, the Bellevue, Washington-based bank will provide private banking, wealth management and business banking services to individuals, families and businesses in the greater Puget Sound area.

“There are excellent immediate and long-term prospects in the Puget Sound marketplace for the kind of personalized, relationship-centered private and business banking services that Charter Private offers," said Jim Garvey, president and chief executive of the bank.
