Prior to joining Evermay, Edwards was a vice president and portfolio manager with Chevy Chase Trust and simultaneously managed over $1 billion in assets as chief investment officer at ASB Capital Management.

Edwards is a prominent figure in the fixed income space and his hiring marks a milestone for Evermay as it approaches its one year anniversary and continues to grow.

The firm has about $300 million in assets under management.
