Mr Hausammann, who will report to Yves Robert-Charrue, will be responsible for increasing the firm’s non-benchmark oriented investment solutions, finews, the Swiss financial news service, reported.

Mr Hausammann was most recently managing director at Credit Suisse, where he also held the position of global head of total returns solutions.

Earlier this year, Julius Baer hired Mr Robert-Charrue, who is heading the investment solutions group at the bank. He was also hired from Credit Suisse.
