Merrill Lynch Hires Private Banking Market Head From Julius Baer

Merrill Lynch in Singapore has hired private banking senior executive Yang Fang Ong from Julius Baer, this publication has learned. Ms Ong had been at Julius Baer since 2006 where she joined as market head of private banking in Singapore. Sources confirmed that Ms Ong joins as senior director, team head, with a focus on Indonesia and Thailand. Merrill Lynch was unavailable for comment when approached earlier this week.
