West Coast Private Bank Hires To Up PE And VC Service

First Republic Bank, a San Francisco-based provider of private banking and wealth management services, has hired Julie Schneider, a senior banker with extensive experience working with private equity and venture capital clients, to work in its Palo Alto office. Ms Schneider will be a senior commercial lender in the bank’s business banking group. She will work with a team of bankers dedicated to venture capital, private equity, real estate funds and investment management clients at the bank's offices in Palo Alto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston and New York. President and chief operating officer Katherine August-deWilde said: “Julie’s appointment highlights First Republic’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service to private equity and venture capital firms across the US.” Before joining First Republic, Ms Schneider worked for Silicon Valley Bank for 17 years, most recently as a director in its private equity services group. First Republic Bank is a division of Bank of America.
