BNY Mellon Wealth Management Hires Two in Florida

BNY Mellon Wealth Management is continuing to build its sales and portfolio management capacity, this time with the addition of two staff in Florida. Louis-Albert Jolivert, based in Miami, steps into position as sales director and will report to Craig Sutherland, president for the southeast; Sean Maguire will be based in Tampa as a senior portfolio manager, reporting to regional director Ray Ifert. Mr Jolivert joins from JP Morgan Private Bank where he spent two years working with ultra high net worth individuals and families on their investment, wealth management and credit needs. Prior to that he served as a managing director at Bear Stearns in New York where he sold fixed income derivatives to institutional clients. Mr Maguire was a senior vice president, director of wealth management with Lydian Bank & Trust. Prior to that, he was vice president and personal trust portfolio manager with Northern Trust Bank and previously with Sun Trust Bank. In the past four years, BNY Mellon Wealth Management has expanded its work force here by a third and the company plans to add more staff in 2010, Mr Sutherland said.
