UK-based Heartwood Wealth Management, part of Heartwood Wealth Group, has appointed Kirsty MacArthur as relationship director as part of the firm’s expansion.

In this London-based role Ms MacArthur will be responsible for the introduction of the firm’s investment and wealth management services to new client relationships. She will be joining the company in December this year and will be working alongside Guy Hudson, head of client services and distribution.

Ms MacArthur joins Heartwood from UBS, where she was responsible for advising ultra high net worth clients across the sport, media and private equity sectors. She also previously worked at Coutts & Co, where she advised on a range of wealth management services, including asset management, tax planning and credit financing to HNW clients within the sports and entertainment fields as well as other sectors.

“In seeking new relationship directors to join Heartwood, a willingness to embrace Heartwood’s client-focused culture was a key criterion and Kirsty has a really excellent record in the provision of wealth management services to clients in a wide range of sectors,” said Mr Hudson.

“I am excited to be joining Heartwood at this stage in its development. The firm’s sophisticated investment offering combined with an under-one-roof approach to wealth structuring is an attractive proposition to many high net worth individuals,” added Ms MacArthur.

In other recent hires, in June this year Heartwood Wealth Management recruited Bernard Charles from Africa’s Standard Bank to take up the role of head of human resources.
