Los Angeles bank turns to veteran consultant for product and service insights. Los Angeles-based City National Bank has named former PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) consultant Logan Allin as manager of business and operations strategy for its Wealth Management division.

"As City National continues to invest in and enhance its wealth management practice, Logan's skill set and knowledge will help ensure that we remain at the forefront in providing a uniquely positive client experience," says City National's wealth-management head Richard Gershen.

Significant potential

Allin headed the asset-management practice for the PwC's western U.S. region. Before that, he was a partner in the wealth-management practice of EMC Corp.'s consulting business. Earlier still, he was a manager of Capgemini's wealth-management practice. He began his career with Citigroup.

In his new role, Allin will help devise and set long-term goals and coordinate product, technology and operational strategies across City National Wealth Management and its affiliated investment firms.

Allin says, "City National has a client-focused and entrepreneurial culture and a wealth-management business with significant potential and opportunity for growth."
