Fulton names new CEO for wealth-management group

Pennsylvania firm looks to former SunTrust Banks wealth executive D. Hanson. Fulton Financial Corporation has appointed David Hanson, formerly a regional wealth-management executive at SunTrust Banks, as president and CEO of Fulton Financial Advisors, where he will oversee the firm's investment management, brokerage, and trust services.

Hanson replaces Richard Ashby, who will stay on as chairman of Fulton Financial Advisors.

Motivator

Hanson was previously responsible for SunTrust Banks' wealth-management offices in Orlando, Fla., Macon, Ga., and Nashville, Tenn.

Lancaster, Pa.-based Fulton Financial Advisors provides personal trust and estate management, wealth management, retirement services, brokerage, insurance, endowment management, cash management and private banking services. The firm has six offices in Pennsylvania, two in New Jersey, two in Maryland and one in Delaware. -FWR
