SEI adds to its EMEA wealth-management sales team

Barbalaco leads outsourcer's mkting efforts to regional private banks, etc.. Outsourced asset-management and investment-process provider SEI has hired Stephen Barbalaco to sell investment services to private banks and family offices in its European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) region.

Based in London, Barbalaco will report to SEI's EMEA managing director Brandon Sharrett.

"Our success with existing partners is testament to the popularity of our approach," says Sharrett. "We are confident that Stephen's considerable experience of executing sales strategies and developing businesses will help us to build on this success and expand our client base."

Barbalaco was EMEA head of sales, marketing and installations for Bangalore, India-based information-technology outsourcer Mphasis. Barbalaco's resume also includes stints at Cantor Fitzgerald and at Citigroup.
