Russell Investments Names New Head Of Middle East

Seattle-headquartered , a global investment solutions provider with about $418 billion in assets under management, has appointed Brahim Ben Ammar (pictured below) as head of Middle East, based in its Dubai office. Brahim Ben Ammar The firm which has been serving clients in the Middle East for 50 years, dating back to when George Russell first started visiting the region, has maintained an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) for more than 15 years. Ben Ammar's remit is to expand Russell Investments’ existing business in the region and support its strategic partnerships and initiatives. Formerly executive director at Banco Santander International, Ben Ammar has more than 25 years of experience, primarily in business development and international distribution throughout the Middle East and North Africa. During his career, he has held senior positions at Banco Santander International, Lombard Odier, Pictet Asset Management and Clearstream Banking Group. “Brahim joins us at an important and exciting time, reflecting our continued commitment to delivering solutions combining investment advice, investment management and efficient implementation to investors across the Middle East,” Jim Leggate, head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Russell Investments, said. “We are seeing significant demand for our capabilities across both institutional and wealth markets.
