Border & Cie Names New Managing Partner

The partners of have appointed Nicolas Porchet (pictured) as managing partner with unlimited liability, effective yesterday. A member of the executive committee and head of business development, Nicolas Porchet, a Swiss national, joined Geneva-headquartered Bordier & Cie in 2019. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, in Switzerland and in Asia, as a private banker. He has expertise in business development and client acquisition, marketing and portfolio management for Swiss and international clients. Prior to joining Bordier & Cie, he held positions at institutions such as J Safra Sarasin, Lombard Odier & Cie, Pictet & Cie, Credit Suisse and Reuters. Porchet is fluent in French and English and has a very good command of Mandarin. He holds an EHL bachelor in international hospitality management and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder. “The appointment of Nicolas Porchet is fully aligned with our long-term vision and our determination to pass on, for the long term, the values on which the identity of Bordier & Cie is founded.
