Cypher Capital The fund trades digital markets rather than just digital assets. That includes crypto, tokenised real-world assets, prediction markets and on-chain credit, run through a market-neutral core, systematic strategies and a thematic overlay as one portfolio, the firm said in a statement. The strategy has been traded live with Cypher's own proprietary capital since March 2026, ahead of opening to outside investors. It's the third pillar of Cypher's multi-asset platform, alongside AI infrastructure and private equity. The fund is open to professional and institutional investors only, offered by private placement on the basis of its offering documents. "Everything we have built since 2022 started with our own conviction and our own capital. The Cypher Digital Fund brings that conviction into an institutional structure, governed, audited and regulated, so that investors who share our view of where markets are going can access it properly,” Bijan Alizadeh, founder and chairman at Cypher Capital, said. “In June we argued that the market had already moved – that price discovery now happens around the clock, on venues most institutions still cannot reach. The fund is that argument, operationalised. We built the vehicle we said the market was missing.” Kim Wong, chief investment officer at Cypher Capital, added. Evelyn Partners The offering gives financial advisors greater flexibility when constructing investment solutions for clients who may benefit from holding investments within an onshore investment bond structure, while retaining access to Evelyn Partners' professionally managed MPS strategies. The firm's Core and Index MPS ranges are now available through onshore bond wrappers on AJ Bell (Countrywide Assured bond wrapper), Aviva, M&G (Chesnara Life bond wrapper), Quilter, and Transact, the firm said in a statement. The launch, which has broadened the range of tax wrappers available to advisors using Evelyn Partners' MPS proposition, responds to growing demand for investment solutions that can support a wide variety of client planning needs. “Advisors increasingly want the flexibility to combine professionally managed investment portfolios with wrappers that support specific tax planning and financial planning objectives,” Matthew Spencer, head of intermediaries at Evelyn Partners, said. “By making our Core and Index MPS ranges available through onshore bonds across a number of major platforms, we are giving advisors more choice in how they deliver investment solutions for clients.” Onshore investment bonds can offer a number of potential benefits depending on an individual's circumstances. These can include tax-deferred withdrawals of up to 5 per cent of the original investment each year, the ability to assign policies without triggering an immediate chargeable event in certain circumstances, and opportunities for tax-efficient planning where clients may be basic-rate taxpayers in retirement or at the point where gains are realised. The structure can also provide administrative simplicity, particularly for clients who have used all their pensions and ISA allowances, while offering access to a broad range of underlying investments. “Investment bonds are a well-established planning tool and can play an important role for the right clients, particularly those seeking tax deferral, estate planning flexibility or a solution beyond traditional tax wrappers,” Spencer added. “Advisors can now access our Core and Index MPS ranges within these structures across a growing number of platforms, helping them align investment management with clients' wider financial planning requirements.” The Core range is designed for clients seeking actively managed, risk-targeted portfolios, while the Index range provides a lower-cost approach centred on passive investments and strategic asset allocation. Bond-compatible versions of the models have been created to ensure compliance with asset availability requirements within the relevant wrappers. The availability of the bond versions of these models follows extensive work with platform providers to ensure asset compatibility and operational readiness across the selected wrappers. Advisors using the service should ensure that they select the designated bond-compatible model versions when investing. The launch forms part of Evelyn Partners' investment in its advisor proposition, expanding wrapper choice and improving access to its discretionary portfolio management capabilities across the UK advisor market. EMV Capital These span robotics, spacetech, materials science, oncology and medtech, the firm said in a statement. Many of co-investment deals originate from EMVC’s Martlet Capital fund. Martlet mainly works on spinouts from Cambridge University and the wider Cambridge tech cluster. Notable exits include unicorn Abcam, Cambridge CMOS Sensors and Arachnys. The fund invests from late seed through to Series A, focusing on long-term capital growth.
