McLoughlin joins after five years at James Hambro & Partners, where he was director of financial planning. He has nearly 15 years' experience of delivering private client and wealth management advice. Previously, he worked at Rathbones and Kleinwort Benson. As a Chartered Financial Planner, Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP), and taxation technician who is progressing towards Chartered Tax Adviser status, McLoughlin has a particularly strong technical background, Evelyn Partners said.

' London family law team has been nominated as global president of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) with effect from 5 September 2026. She will carry out the role alongside her legal practice.

IAFL is a worldwide association of family lawyers dedicated to improving the practice of law and the administration of justice through family law. Founded in 1986, IAFL now has over 1,090 members across 127 distinct legal jurisdictions and provides a unique network for education and the referral of matters, as well as working on law reform around the world. Alongside nominating Todd as president, IAFL is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Todd has been an active member of the IAFL since she joined in 2011, taking on several roles during her time with the organisation including joining the IAFL executive committee in 2020 as secretary. She will serve as president for 12 months, and hand over to her successor at the close of the annual meeting in Mumbai in September 2027.

Todd is a prominent family lawyer in the London market, advising on complex international financial remedy matters, often with an emphasis on Italy, multi-jurisdictional pre-nups and private international child and family matters including surrogacy. She is also a practising mediator and collaborative lawyer, which enables her to provide an array of alternative dispute resolution options to clients who wish to resolve disputes out of court.

Her clients include global household names in the business and entertainment world, internationally mobile professionals (often the female breadwinner), the motor sport industry and their partners. She works with founders, senior City professionals, international families directly and with their general counsel through their family offices.
