FE fundinfo Doehrer will lead FE fundinfo’s product function and be the primary voice on product strategy for the executive leadership beam and board. Based in Frankfurt and working with teams across the business, he will lead product strategy spanning FE fundinfo’s platform, data and analytics capabilities, bringing the organisation together to deliver “world-class” AI-enabled products and services for investment and wealth management clients through the company’s integrated Nexus platform, the firm said in a statement. Doehrer, who has extensive product and platform leadership experience, recently worked as a strategic advisor for private equity investors and PE-backed companies. Prior to this, he spent five years at Morningstar in global product leadership roles. Earlier in his career, he was chief product officer at Infront, leading the platform strategy after Infront's acquisition of vwd AG in 2019. Doehrer has a financial engineering and entrepreneurial background; he co-founded EDG AG (now Infront Quant AG), known for quantitative and regulatory technology for investment products. "Bjoern brings a rare combination of domain knowledge, data expertise, product and platform building and commercial partnership, which I'm very excited about,” Liam Healy, CEO at FE fundinfo, said. “He has a track record of building and scaling data-driven platform businesses. As we reimagine our industry and further incorporate AI, he will help our clients through an incredible transformation and expand the impact of Nexus more broadly.” Monument Bank Mike Freer Freer, who has more than 40 years of experience in financial services, has worked in a wide variety of jurisdictions, including the UK and the Channel Islands. He will be responsible for supporting new and existing clients across the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors in the design, implementation and administration of employee incentive, pension and share plan solutions. This will involve working with companies, trustees and other stakeholders to implement equity-based compensation arrangements that align employee rewards with wider business objectives, the firm said in a statement. Prior to joining JTC, Freer was head of business development at a professional services firm, where he covered domestic and international markets. He brings additional experience in establishing new markets in new jurisdictions, as well as securing legal and regulatory approvals. Freer also sits on the Fiscal Strategy Group standing committee, part of Jersey Finance, where he contributes to the consideration of future tax policy. He has supported the government of Jersey through working groups which involved implementing pension regulation and developing an island-wide workplace pension. Freer’s professional qualifications include an associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Financial Planning Certificate. “His extensive industry experience, strong background in international retirement and savings plans, deep understanding of the Channel Islands market and active role in shaping pension policy locally make him an outstanding fit for JTC,” Helier Le Main, global head of JTC employer solutions, said. “As demand for well-structured employee reward and retirement solutions continues to grow, Mike’s expertise will be invaluable to our clients and to the continued development of our offering.”
