Hilbert Names Group Chief Financial Officer

has appointed Masuda Shaik as group chief financial officer as part of the firm's aim of strengthening its leadership team and expanding its capabilities to support its growing client base. The CFO role is a newly formed one, a spokesperson told WealthBriefing when asked about the matter. In her new role, Shaik will support Hilbert's continued growth by strengthening the firm's financial leadership, governance and operational discipline as it broadens its offering for clients and partners, the firm said in a statement. Shaik has almost two decades of international experience across audit, financial services and professional advisor. Most recently, she served as associate director at Gravita, where she led audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, managed multidisciplinary teams, ensured compliance with international auditing and accounting standards. She also advised clients on complex financial reporting matters. Prior to that, Shaik was an audit manager at PwC UK specialising in the insurance sector. She also played a leading role in successful new business pitches and was recognised for her contribution to digital transformation, helping to develop and embed innovative audit technologies across the business. At PwC she built a reputation for delivering complex audit engagements, driving digital transformation, and championing diversity and inclusion. In addition to her professional achievements, Shaik is the founder of a London-based community for new mothers, established to help reduce isolation in motherhood by fostering meaningful social connections and peer support. This initiative reflects her commitment to building inclusive communities and creating positive social impact beyond the workplace. "We are delighted to welcome Masuda to Hilbert.
