The licence represents a milestone in the group’s international growth strategy, establishing Guernsey as its Channel Islands hub for fiduciary and private wealth services, the firm said in a statement. The addition of Guernsey will strengthen Osiris’ ability to provide clients and intermediaries with a broader range of jurisdictional options through a single international platform and will enhance the group’s cross-border capabilities in serving internationally mobile and ultra-high net worth families.

Osiris Management Guernsey and Osiris Trustees Guernsey will provide trustee services, trust administration, corporate administration, private client structuring, family office support, and directorship and governance services, the firm said in a statement.

The Guernsey business will be led by a board combining local fiduciary expertise with continuity from within the Osiris Group. Dan Bisson, who has been appointed executive director, is a Guernsey-resident fiduciary executive with more than 25 years’ experience. Besson has served in senior roles with Nedbank International, RBC, Butterfield and Rothschild Trust. 

Tim Walker is joining as executive director from Osiris Corporate Solutions (Mauritius), where he served as head of trust and administration. With his knowledge of the group’s operating model, governance framework and international client base, he will provide continuity as the Guernsey business is established, the firm continued.

Jonny Gamble has also been appointed executive director. A Guernsey-resident financial services professional with more than 30 years’ experience across the investment, fiduciary and private wealth sectors, he brings significant governance expertise and local market knowledge to the board. Meanhwile, George Titan, chief executive officer of Osiris Group, is joining the board as a non-executive director, to provide oversight and guidance.
