Natixis Investment Managers
has appointed Raphael Zenou (pictured) as head of ETF Capital Markets to accelerate the development of its exchange-traded fund product line. Based in Paris, he will report to Mathieu Cheula, CEO, Natixis Investment Managers International (NIMI), and functionally to Aline Flamain, active ETF program director.

Zenou joins from Amundi where he most recently led ETF Capital Markets Platform activities. He brings expertise in ETF market structure, liquidity management, primary market operations, industry stakeholder relationships and technology.

Working in an integrated manner across Natixis IM, Zenou will collaborate with the product, distribution, and operations teams, as well as the affiliate investment managers, to ensure a seamless market entry, the firm said.

"The launch of our ETF products later this year represents a major milestone in our global distribution strategy,” Fabrice Chemouny, head of International Distribution, Natixis Investment Managers, said. “Recruiting a professional of Raphael’s calibre is a real asset for us. His deep expertise of ETF capital markets will help accelerate our offering and grow our business."

International law firm has appointed Paula Myers (pictured below) as a partner in its private capital team, effective 27 July. She returns to WBD after having trained and qualified at Dickinson Dees, one of WBD's legacy firms.

Myers has more than 25 years of experience advising high net worth individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries and professional advisors on complex trust, estate and inheritance disputes. Previously, she led the will, trust and estate disputes team at Irwin Mitchell, growing the practice from six lawyers to 45 and establishing it as one of the largest private client disputes team in the UK. She also led the firm’s wider private client services business, overseeing a team of approximately 184 solicitors, accountants and trust advisors across offices nationwide.

Myers’ arrival will enhance WBD's contentious private wealth capability, adding senior leadership to a team that advises clients on a broad range of trust, estate, inheritance and major succession disputes across the UK and internationally.

Her arrival follows a series of recent strategic appointments at WBD, including David Varney, who joined as a partner in the firm's Bristol office at the beginning of July to strengthen its national digital practice, Andrew Yates, who joined the London office in March as head of Living Capital to support the continued growth of WBD's Living sector offering, and most recently, Richard Sharpe, who joined the firm’s residential team as a partner.

Downing
, an investment manager with offices throughout the UK and Europe, has appointed Jack Salisbury (pictured below) as sales partner. He will be joining the the Downing sales leadership team.

Previously, Salisbury was at Puma Investments, where he was prominent in the firm’s sales operation. he has experience in growing distribution across unquoted and quoted IHT solutions and has built a track record of supporting financial advisors and wealth managers, the firm said in a statement.

He brings a wealth of experience in the retail sales market; a deep understanding of advisers’ needs and a proven ability to build strong distribution partnerships,” Tony McGing, CEO at Downing, said. “As demand for estate planning solutions continues to grow, Jack’s expertise will be invaluable as we seek to enhance our offerings and increase our market share.”

The firm added that Salisbury’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the estate planning market. With pensions set to become subject to inheritance tax from April 2027 and more estates likely to face IHT liabilities, advisors are increasingly reviewing estate planning strategies with clients. Demand for solutions has risen accordingly, and Downing is continuing to invest in its customer and business development teams to support advisors.

T Rowe Price
, a global asset management firm, has appointed Andrew Brickman (pictured below) as head of ETF Solutions, EMEA, in a newly-created role within the firm's expanding exchange-traded fund (ETF) business.

Based in London and reporting to Tim Coyne, head of ETFs, Brickman will be responsible for supporting T Rowe Price's ETF business across EMEA. His remit will cover distribution, product, marketing, capital markets and investments to advance the firm's ETF initiatives. He will also lead ETF education, training and client engagement activities, helping to build T Rowe Price's ETF capabilities and support continued growth in the region.

Most recently, Brickman led ETF distribution efforts with central banks, sovereign wealth funds and family offices across EMEA at BlackRock.

"Andrew's appointment reflects our commitment to building a leading ETF platform that delivers the benefits of T Rowe Price's active investment capabilities to a broader range of clients," Coyne said. "He joins at a time of growing demand for active ETF strategies. As we continue to expand our global ETF platform, Andrew's leadership and expertise will enhance client support and contribute to the firm's long-term strategic ambitions in the region.”
