, a global professional services firm, has appointed Jurgen Borgt (pictured) as head of corporate services – Switzerland within its Institutional Capital Services (ICS) Division.

Jurgen’s appointment marks a milestone for JTC, reflecting its continued investment in strengthening its regional presence and supporting both Swiss and international clients, the firm said in a statement.

Jurgen. who has more than 25 years of experience in financial services in international markets, most recently served as managing director of a prominent financial services firm, where he led a multi-office organisation with offices in Geneva, Zug and Zurich.

, Ogier’s Corporate and Fiduciary services division, has appointed Declan Byrne (pictured below) as head of agency services within its Debt Capital Markets team.

Based in Ireland, Byrne will be working with clients across Europe and Asia on transactions involving facility agent and security agent structures. He will also work with asset managers and investment firms on the structuring and operation of investment vehicles, in particular working on leveraged finance, real estate and structured finance.

A capital markets professional with more than 25 years of experience across a broad range of credit-related work, Byrne, who has worked at a number of global banking institutions, has particular expertise in syndicated loans. Most recently, he held a senior position at a multi-jurisdictional service provider, where he headed up the loan agency and middle office product teams.

Ogier Global’s Debt Capital Markets team plays a critical role in helping to bring transactions to market, providing a broad range of services such as incorporating special purpose vehicles, providing company secretarial support and offering loan, calculation, listing, cash manager paying, facility and security agent services. By drawing on Ogier’s legal expertise, the team is able to offer a truly integrated service, meaning that client transactions can be structured, executed and administered under one roof.
