US-based has appointed Richard Terblanche (pictured) as vice president, global distribution data solutions within its growing Data-Driven Fund Solutions business.

Based in London, he will work with global asset managers to manage the increasing complexity of client and distribution data across global markets. This is a newly created role, the firm said in a statement.

Terblanche, who has more than 20 years of experience across investment management and data, previously served in senior roles at Strategic Insight. Most recently, led the EMEA business at Fishtank, where he worked with asset managers on complex data and distribution challenges.

UK-based , a private equity firm, has appointed Katie Bohill and Niall Choat as investment managers to support its North East deal team.

Bohill will be responsible for dealing with origination and execution across the North East of England. Prior to joining Maven, she spent three years in EY’s audit team, where she worked with some of the region’s largest plcs and qualified as an ACA chartered accountant. A chemical engineering graduate, Bohill began her career in CPI’s Biotechnology division, where she supported process scale-up and optimisation projects across the AgriFoodTech and pharma sectors.

Choat joins from FRP Corporate Finance, where he advised on a range of mid-market M&A and capital raising transactions across multiple sectors. Prior to this, he worked at Aspire Technology Solutions, RSM and Deloitte, building broad experience in advising growth businesses and their stakeholders. Having worked in both industry and practice, his background spans deal execution, strategic advisory and supporting management teams through key stages of growth and investment.

Maven supports businesses as fund manager for the British Business Bank’s Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II) and Business Durham’s, Finance Durham Fund throughout their office network in Newcastle, Durham and Middlesbrough.
