Lovett will be central to translating the board’s vision and building on sustainable growth, as well as continuing to champion a people-centric culture, concentrating on leadership development, succession planning, and a collegiate, collaborative approach, the firm said in a statement. She will also assume joint responsibility for profit and loss performance, oversee operational delivery across all business areas, and lead major transformation and integration programmes in line with the firm’s long-term vision. Peel Hunt Rae Maile Supported by Luckman (pictured below), Maile will lead Peel Hunt’s coverage of financial services companies which will include asset managers, wealth managers, and specialist lenders. Ross Luckman Maile and Luckman both join from Panmure Liberum, where they mainly dealt in equity research. Maile brings a wealth of expertise across equity research, fund management and institutional broking, with a career spanning senior roles at leading investment banks, brokers and asset managers. Luckman also brings extensive experience covering UK financial services companies across the market cap spectrum. As an investment banking associate, FIG, Yakpo (pictured below) will play a key role in supporting Peel Hunt’s clients in the sector, across day-to-day workstreams and deal execution. Yakpo was previously at Fenchurch Advisory Partners, where she worked as an M&A analyst of financial services deals. Sefa Yakpo The expansion of the FIG team complements Peel Hunt’s desire to deepen sector expertise, expand client coverage and support existing and potential clients across the sector. “These appointments mark another important step in the expansion of our FIG business,” Steven Fine, Peel Hunt CEO, said. “Each brings deep sector expertise and networks, high-quality experience and momentum, strengthening our ability to support clients across the financial institutions sector." PI Investment Management Benson joins from Copia Capital, where she was managing director of the discretionary investment management business. She led the DFM and sat on the executive committee, overseeing a period of significant growth in assets and team size while maintaining consistent investment performance. Clarke was previoiusly with HFMC Wealth, where she was a member of the investment committee with responsibility for portfolio management and fund selection across asset classes. She has more than 20 years' experience across leading discretionary and asset management firms.
