BWC Benchmarking Adds Two New Ambassadors

Editorial Staff

26 March 2026

, has added two senior figures in the UK’s wealth management sector – Keith Macdonald and Rupert Phelps – to its roster of BWC Ambassadors.

The ambassadors have been chosen for their status as senior and respected figures in UK wealth management, technology and financial services. (See our story from early February.) Their involvement will help ensure that BWC’s analysis of proprietary datasets across operational performance, remuneration, fees and charges, and other services is grounded in the practical realities facing wealth management firms and is relevant to senior decision-makers.

Phelps has served in senior roles at Smith & Williamson, Savills and BNY Mellon, and co-founded the Lord Mayor’s Global Family Office Summit at Mansion House. MacDonald has held leadership positions across consulting and financial services organisations including EY, Capgemini and Capco. He led EY’s wealth management and private banking business for more than a decade. He now advises established firms, startups and charities/social impact groups on strategy, distribution, partnerships and funding.
