RBC Brewin Dolphin Hobbins brings more than 20 years of experience as a financial planner, having previously worked for Amber River, a large UK-based independent financial planning network, and Evelyn Partners. He is a fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. Founded in 2021 after acquiring Heritage Financial Advisers Ltd in 2020, Chester Rose is based in Newbury and advises 650 clients with £400 million under advice. This is Dunbabin’s second IFA business, following his time with Ascot Lloyd, now one of the UK’s largest IFAs. In late 2024, Chester Rose acquired Hencilla Canworth, a South East London financial planning firm that administers a pension scheme for the creative and performing arts.
London-headquartered wealth manager , the wealth planning firm led by Richard Dunbabin, the founder and former CEO of Ascot Lloyd, has appointed Matt Hobbins as financial planning manager. His appointment will support the firm’s plan to accelerate growth across the UK this year, the firm said in a statement.
