Deutsche Bank Sets Up Greece Wealth Business

said yesterday that it is expanding its Greek wealth management business by setting up dedicated Greek market coverage. 

The bank has hired Konstadinos Hatzinikolis (main picture) who will be joining as head of Private Bank Greece, based in Luxembourg, effective mid-November. Previously, he was based in Geneva.

Hatzinikolis, who has nearly 30 years of wealth management experience, will lead the newly-established multi-shore team. He will report to Sofia Sool, head of Private Bank Emerging Europe.

Previously, he served in senior leadership roles at Banque Syz and HSBC Private Banking.

“His experience and leadership will be invaluable as we bolster our presence in the Greek market, where we see significant growth potential,” Sool said in a statement.

Hatzinikolis holds an MBA in wealth management from Carnegie Mellon University, in partnership with the University of Geneva.

Sool is based in London and reports to Arjun Nagarkatti, head of Private Bank US & Europe International, also based in London.
