As part of the wider agreement, Titan Wealth will serve as the women’s exclusive shirt sponsor this season, with its logo appearing on the back of Harlequins Women’s matchday shirts. The partnership will also include additional pitchside branding at The Stoop for all fixtures across both teams throughout the season.
The move is an example of wealth managers using sponsorship support of sports teams and individual players to raise awareness of their brands. Here is an editorial from this publication about the intersection of sports and wealth management.
Titan Wealth said it will support Harlequins players and staff through two key strands of its “Life after Rugby” initiative. The first is the Academy Programme, which offers a structured career transition pathway into the wealth management industry, with a focus on former professional athletes. This includes training, industry-recognised qualifications, and personalised mentorship to help individuals build successful careers beyond sport.
The second strand covers financial education and coaching, providing players and staff with access to tailored programmes on financial planning and money management.
Titan is widening its involvement at a time when the profile of women’s rugby is at a high level, following the success of the England “Red Roses” team in the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
“We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Harlequins as Wealth Management partner for both the men and women’s teams, particularly at such a pivotal moment for the women’s sport, post-World Cup,” Andrew Fearon, joint group CEO and head of M&A, Titan Wealth, said. “This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting excellence on the pitch and helping all players prepare for life beyond rugby. We look forward to being part of Harlequins’ journey and contributing to the continued growth of the women’s game.”
