Mirabaud & Cie Names New Head Of Investments

has appointed Ricardo Castillo as head of investments. Based in Geneva, Castillo (pictured) reports directly to Camille Vial, CEO of Mirabaud & Cie. Castillo is responsible for heading up the private bank’s investment committee and overseeing all of Mirabaud’s discretionary management and advisory activities. He will be supported by a multidisciplinary team, including a financial research unit headed by Khaled Louhichi and the group’s economic and strategic analysis resources. Castillo has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and wealth management, notably as an investment manager and specialist in discretionary management and multi asset portfolio construction. Before joining Mirabaud, he led the investment team at a Geneva-based family office and the Latin America advisory and sales department at Credit Suisse. Castillo began his career in advisory services at JP Morgan and UBS. He is trilingual in French, English and Spanish and is a CFA and CAIA charter holder. “We are delighted to welcome Ricardo Castillo as head of investments for our wealth management business,” Vial said. “His leadership, cutting-edge expertise in discretionary management and in-depth knowledge of international markets are valuable assets that we will put at the service of our clients.” Among other appointments, Mirabaud recently appointed a new CEO, Émilie Serrurier-Hoël, based in Luxembourg. Founded in Geneva in 1819, Mirabaud Group employs around 700 staff throughout offices in Switzerland (Geneva, Basel and Zurich), Europe (London, Luxembourg, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Milan) and the rest of the world (Montreal, Dubai, Montevideo and São Paulo).
