Gareth Williams has left his position as managing director and co-head of the global equity team at has appointed Nina Hoas as senior philanthropy strategist.
Hoas has more than 25 years’ experience across the international development and humanitarian sector as well as the wealth management industry. She joined Pictet last week in Geneva, the firm said in a statement.
Previously Hoas headed LGT Bank’s philanthropy advisory offering, a department she founded four and a half years ago. Prior to this she was executive director for Philanthropy Advisory at UBS, in charge of the Nordic and Middle Eastern markets.
Before becoming a philanthropy advisor, Hoas worked for various development and humanitarian organisations such as The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and the United Nations World Food Program.
