has appointed Eden Scrivenger (pictured) as its chief technology and operations officer, subject to regulatory approval.

Scrivenger is taking over from Jaco Cebula, who has left his role as chief technology officer to pursue other opportunities.

The new role brings together Ascot Lloyd’s technology and client services and operations teams, with the aim of embedding technology into the fabric of Ascot Lloyd’s operations. Under Scrivenger leadership, the combined unit aims to accelerate Ascot Lloyd’s digital transformation strategy, helping to meet clients' evolving set of technology requirements.

Scrivenger, who brings a wealth of experience in leading both operational and technology teams, has a track record built over a 20-year career in the financial services sector. Most recently, she served as chief technology and operations officer at Wealthtime, an advisor platform, and previously at Investec Wealth & Investment UK as chief technology officer.

Scrivenger’s appointment marks a milestone in Ascot Lloyd’s operational reorganisation, which has seen the creation of an integrated product and proposition team, and the establishment of a regional operating model.

Scrivenger will assume responsibility for the newly-created unit on 18 August 2025.

“The integration of our technology and operations teams is a key milestone in our digital transformation strategy, representing a significant opportunity to unlock further growth, and build on the excellent service we can offer clients,” Francis Jackson, chief executive officer at Ascot Lloyd, said. “Eden has a deep track record in fostering technological innovation, both internally for efficiency purposes, and externally for the benefit of end-clients.”
