UBS
UBS Global Wealth Management, part of (BW), a professional services consultancy, has appointed Nick Cooper as CEO of BW SIPP.

Cooper (pictured) has more than three decades of experience in the SIPP and master trust markets, including international experience. Over the past year, he has played a pivotal role in the transformation of BW SIPP as head of SIPP Proposition, the firm said in a statement.

His appointment follows a planned leadership transition from Simon Foster, ahead of his retirement later this year.

During his time at BW, Cooper has been closely involved in its business transformation, such as developing the new SIPP360 platform – a cloud-based SIPP administration solution.

Prior to joining BW, Cooper held senior positions at firms including Aviva, Zurich and Clerical Medical, developing retirement propositions and managing strategic partnerships. He was also involved in developing Embark Group's SIPP proposition for digital wealth platforms and spent three years as head of master trust proposition for XPS and SEI.

Barnett Waddingham (part of Howden) specialises in risk, pensions, investment, and insurance. It acts as a trusted partner for a wide range of clients in both the private and public sectors – this includes 24 per cent of FTSE 100 and more than 15 per cent of FTSE 350 companies.

Shiprock Capital Management
