UBS Rebello was most recently at DWS in New York, where she led Xtrackers sales for the US onshore market. Earlier, she served in senior roles at BlackRock in London within the iShares business. UBS AM oversees $823 billion in assets in its ETF and index fund segment.
UBS Asset Management, part of , has appointed Amanda Rebello (main photograph) as head of exchange-traded funds and index fund sales, effective 16 September. She will be succeeding Clemens Reuter, who is retiring after 15 years at UBS and more than 30 years in the industry.
Johnston Carmichael Wealth
has appointed Leigh Townsley as a chartered financial planner, based in Glasgow.
Townsley brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including 18 years as a qualified financial planner. She has worked in several firms, such as NFU Mutual, where she spent more than 12 years as a chartered financial advisor, specialising in complex financial planning for rural and agricultural clients.
More recently, Townsley worked at Lomond Wealth for six years, according to her Linkedin profile.
Johnston Carmichael’s Wealth division has 15 financial planners and a wider team of more than 60 professionals.
The firm became part of Partners Wealth Management earlier this year following its acquisition from Johnston Carmichael.
