Etops, Finanzportal24 Etops also recently inked a partnership with Polixis, a RegTech and advisory firm which offers a blend of human expertise with machine intelligence and big data.
Zurich-headquartered wealthtech firm has acquired Finanzportal24, which provides financial planning software in Germany.
Finanzportal24, founded in 2002 by Hubertus Schmidt, is headquartered in Burbach. Finanzportal24’s software solutions are used by more than 4,500 users in Germany.
“This acquisition enables us to strategically expand our offering and provide our clients with a seamless, digital value chain – from financial planning to portfolio management to reporting,” Pius Stucki, group CEO of Etops, said in a statement.
The acquired firm will continue to operate independently in the market with its team and locations in Burbach and Marburg, Etops said.
Last year, Pollen Street Capital acquired Etops, providing it with added firepower to expand. Etops serves more than 550 clients such as banks, wealth and asset managers, independent advisors, and insurance firms in Germany, Switzerland, and other continental European markets.
