Sir Paul McCartney will feature in a US national advertising campaign for Fidelity Investments according to the company. Fidelity also will co-sponsor the former Beatle’s 11-week US concert tour, which starts this month in Miami. The advertisement takes viewers through events and accomplishments of the 63-year-old musician's life. Fidelity is putting increased emphasis on its retirement-services unit as the eldest baby boomers turn 59 this year. Abigail Johnson, daughter of Fidelity Chairman Edward C. Johnson III, is in overall charge of this business area. Fidelity, with $1.1 trillion in assets, is trying to spur fund sales after lagging behind American Funds, Vanguard Group and Franklin Resources in the first half, according to industry research.
