International law firm has appointed Bertrand Levavasseur as managing director and head of Switzerland.

Levavasseur has more than 15 years' experience in asset management business development. He joins from Oddo BHF Asset Management, where he served as head of strategic accounts and new markets. He led the development of strategic client relationships, especially those in Switzerland and Italy, and group strategic new market development, particularly in the Middle East. 

Before this, Levavasseur also held senior positions at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong and Philippe Investment Management in Paris. He holds a master’s degree in business from European Business School (EBS) and an INSEAD global management executive education.

Lazard Asset Management, a New York-based subsidiary of Lazard, offers a range of equity, fixed income, and alternative investment products. As of 30 January 2025, Lazard’s asset management businesses managed about $233 billion of client assets.
