Quantuma
Cross-border advisory firm (KBIGI), a specialist asset management boutique, has appointed Eve Finn (pictured) as an independent non-executive director.

Finn, who has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, was CEO and executive director of LGIM Managers (Europe) Limited until late last year. During her 14 years with the firm, she worked as head of portfolio construction, LDI Funds and head of solutions for LGIM Investments, based in London. Previously, Finn worked for Deutsche Bank and Watson Wyatt.

A fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, she was elected to the Irish Funds industry association members’ council in 2021. Also, Finn was formerly a member of the IFSC Funds Group, a joint government/industry group focused on investment and fund-related matters.

“We are delighted to have Eve join the KBIGI board. She brings tremendous financial services industry experience, which will be invaluable as we look to grow our business and deliver for clients. Eve will add considerable value to KBIGI and complement the board’s wider skillset,” CEO Sean Hawkshaw said.

Offering a range of Global Equity strategies and Natural Resources Equity strategies, KBIGI manages assets for a broad range of clients – public and corporate pension schemes, sub-advisory investors, foundations and endowments, wealth managers, private banks and investment intermediaries included.

KBIGI has a global client base and today holds mandates in the UK, Europe, North America, Asia, and Australasia, as well as for some of Ireland’s largest and best-known corporations. Part of Amundi, the firm is headquartered in Dublin, with a representative sales office in Boston, Massachusetts.

BNP Paribas Asset Management
has appointed two investment directors within the private debt team of its private assets investment division. Linda Fodil and Thibault Sartori are both based in Paris and will report to Christophe Carrasco, head of private debt.

Fodil has more than 20 years of experience in SME financing and investment. Previously, she worked for seven years at AXA IM in the private debt team as a senior investment professional and a voting member of the investment committee. Before that, Fodil spent 10 years in the leveraged finance origination team of HSBC in Paris, where she started her career as an analyst and was promoted to director in 2016.

Fodil graduated from Paris-Dauphine University with a master’s in finance.

Sartori, who has over 10 years of experience in the direct lending industry, was previously investment director in the private debt team of LFPI, which he joined in 2014. In this position, he supported and coordinated the development of the direct lending activity in both senior, unitranche and mezzanine transactions mainly on the small and mid-cap markets, focusing on origination and execution as well as portfolio monitoring. Prior to this, he worked in the financial sponsors solutions team of UniCredit in Paris where he was active in the execution of mid and large cap leverage buy-out financings for various private equity funds. He also had experience in a CLO fund at Natixis CIB.

Sartori holds a master’s degree in investment banking and capital markets with a specialisation in corporate finance from Paris-Dauphine University.

“We’re glad to have Linda and Thibault joining the team to support and accelerate the development of our unitranche strategy,” Christophe Carrasco, head of private debt, BNP Paribas Assets Management, said. “The team’s credit knowledge is a strong key differentiating factor to select the best counterparties and provide the best risk-return profile.”
